ManaBadi Telugu Classes

నమస్తే, we at Vegas Telugu Association are collaborating with to bring 'Manabadi' to Las Vegas. VeTA is  excited to inform starting of "Manabadi" to teach Telugu language to our kids from summer of 2015. In the past we were able to conduct Manabadi classes for couple of years with 9 kids, but down the road due to lack of participation we could not continue. We are looking for instructors who could volunteer and dedicate couple of hours every weekend on a Saturday or Sunday to teach classes as per the curriculum and syllabus provided to us by folks from Manabadi and

SiliconAndhra is a non-profit organization started in 2001 in the USA. ManaBadi is a Telugu language program developed with the collaboration of Sri. Potti Sriramulu Telugu Viswa Vidyalayam, Hyderabad. ManaBadi with was started with a motto of taking our mother tongue, Telugu from "Ancient Language" to "World Language" status In the process, they are conducting Telugu language schools in 26 states of USA with more than 3,000 kids. Besides this they are running some more schools in other countries like UK, Ukraine, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Canada, Norway, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand etc. Hope we will walk together in spreading TELUGUDANAM everywhere.

Bharatnatyam classes

Charulatha Jayaraman is an outstanding award-winning performer and teacher in the field of Bharathanatyam. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Shrishti School of Performing Arts (or "Shrishti") in Orange County, CA.

She is a nattuvangam exponent and an ardent disciple of Smt. Indira Rajan, a world class nattuvanar par excellence. Charulatha aims at imparting and sharing knowledge about the art form through "Shrishti". Charulatha is notable amongst the new genre of exponents. She is the recipient of the most coveted award from the Government of Tamilnadu, "Kalaimamani". A practitioner of the Pandanallur style of Bharathanatyam, her captivating elegance and stage presence has been a treat to art lovers. Her recitals combine superior artistry with emotional directness. She is applauded by critics and connoisseurs of art for her innovative choreographic techniques. The divine art which has touched her soul and spirit is both her passion and prayer. She has been bestowed with various titles and awards to commemorate her talent.

Charulatha is a disciple of Sangeet Nataka Academy Awardee Guru Smt. Indira Rajan. Charulatha has had her initial tutelage under Smt. Suba Parmar and Smt. Subhashini Chandresekar.
